Eagles, formed in Los Angeles in 1971, are one of the world’s best-selling bands with over 200 million records sold. Known for their five #1 singles, six #1 albums, and six Grammy wins, they dominated 1970s rock. Originally backing Linda Ronstadt, founding members Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, and Randy Meisner went on to major success after signing with Asylum Records. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
