Featuring two vocal tracks and the rest showcasing his signature New Orleans piano style, the album blends blues, jazz, and boogie-woogie with soulful flair. These intimate, unaccompanied performances—on par with Dr. John Plays Mac Rebennack—highlight his rhythmic mastery and emotional range.
