If This Is It is the third album from Armand Jakobsson, following his acclaimed 2021 release Mirrors. Blending house, electronic pop, and introspective songwriting, the album explores themes of acceptance, living in the present, and letting go of life's unanswered “what ifs.”
The record moves fluidly between reflective and dancefloor-focused moments. Tracks such as U Can’t Come Home and the title song pair emotive vocals and spoken word with lush, atmospheric production, while The Right—featuring Confidence Man—delivers a vibrant club-ready energy. Elsewhere, collaborations with artists including SG Lewis, Moyka, and ARY bring elements of trance, synth-wave, and melodic house into the album’s expansive sound palette.
Closing with the contemplative Our Mother’s Walk and the piano-led Lake Erie Mix of the title track, the album reflects on peace, gratitude, and perspective. Inspired in part by a road trip through America, these final moments reinforce the album’s central message: accepting what cannot be changed while finding joy and meaning in the present.
