David Gilmour’s Luck and Strange is his first album of new material in nine years, recorded in Brighton and London and produced with Charlie Andrew (ALT-J). Featuring lyrics by long-time collaborator Polly Samson, the album includes eight new tracks and a reimagining of The Montgolfier Brothers’ “Between Two Points,” sung by Romany Gilmour. Notable contributors include Guy Pratt, Steve Gadd, Roger Eno, and a posthumous appearance by Richard Wright. The cover and booklet are designed by Anton Corbijn, inspired by lyrics from Charlie Gilmour.
