Stephen James Buckley, aka Polypores, returns with Cosmically A Shambles, blending his signature modular synth textures with stronger rhythms and melodies. The album shifts toward psychedelic and krautrock influences, featuring hypnotic polyrhythms and fuzzed drum machines. Created through live synth “playing” rather than samples, it follows the release of his first-ever 7” lathe cut single, ‘Whorl’, and is out on Cracked Ankles Records.
