Chris Rea’s The Christmas Album marks his first festive release, featuring eight tracks from his catalogue with a Christmas theme. Available on CD and vinyl.

The album opens and closes with Driving Home For Christmas — both the famous 1988 version and the original 1986 B-side of Hello Friend. Initially modest in success, the song has since become a Christmas classic, re-entering the UK Top 40 every year since 2007.
