Acid jazz pioneer Chris Bangs returns in 2024 with Dream World, a global, genre-blending album on the Acid Jazz label. Following recent projects Firebird and Sumthin’ Else (with Mick Talbot), this new release channels the spirit of the Mizell Brothers and George Duke, whose “My Soul” opens the record. Featuring international collaborators from Argentina, Italy, and Chile, Dream World is a vibrant, soulful expansion of Bangs’ signature jazz-fusion sound—what he calls a "pure labour of love."
