Bret McKenzie—Grammy and Oscar-winning member of Flight of the Conchords—is celebrated for his witty, original songs for film, TV, and stage. Beyond Conchords, his eclectic career spans reggae with The Black Seeds, the Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra, and numerous theatrical and musical projects. Known for “Man or Muppet,” he has balanced international work with life in New Zealand. Following 2022’s Songs Without Jokes, McKenzie returns with Freak Out City, a co-produced collection crafted with musicians from both Los Angeles and New Zealand.
