This 3-CD set features previously unreleased studio recordings, including the complete May 1, 1970 session with George Harrison. Originally part of a limited copyright series, 1970 includes outtakes from Self Portrait and New Morning, with Dylan and Harrison performing nine tracks together—ranging from Dylan originals to covers of the Everly Brothers and Carl Perkins. Packaged in an 8-panel digipack with new artwork and liner notes by Michael Simmons.
