Volta is a bold, globally inspired album from Björk, blending her visionary production with standout collaborations. Co-produced with Timbaland and Mark Bell, the album features contributions from Antony (Antony and the Johnsons), electronic innovator Mark Bell, and experimental drummers Chris Corsano and Brian Chippendale. African artists Toumani Diabaté and Konono Nº1, a 10-piece Icelandic female brass section, and Chinese pipa player Min Xiao-Fen add rich, diverse textures to one of Björk’s most adventurous works.
