Formed in 1981 by ex-Skids guitarist Stuart Adamson, Big Country blended punk, new wave, and Celtic-inspired rock with their signature chiming guitars. Their 1986 album The Seer features their biggest UK hit, “Look Away,” and a guest appearance by Kate Bush on the title track. Produced by Robin Millar, the album explores themes of Scottish history and marked a new level of songwriting maturity for Adamson. This reissue faithfully replicates the original Mercury Records release and is pressed on high-quality 180g vinyl.
