Constant Noise, the follow-up to Benefits’ debut Nails, marks a shift in sound as the band evolves into a two-piece featuring Hall and electronic expert Robbie Major. With a more colorful and expansive approach, the album blends bass-heavy, dance-infused rhythms with ambient electronics, moving away from the black-and-white sound of their debut. Guest appearances include Peter Doherty, Zera Tønin, Neil Cooper, and rapper Shakkall, while producers James Welsh and James Adrian Brown guide the band’s new direction. Drawing from influences like Underworld, The Streets, and 90s indie, Constant Noise delivers a fresh and dynamic sound.
