Astrel K is the solo project of Rhys Edwards (Ulrika Spacek), born after relocating from London to Stockholm following the loss of the band’s shared home. His debut single “You Could If You Can” sold out quickly via Duophonic Super 45s, and his debut album, written in solitude, blends textured, song-focused compositions with cinematic instrumental interludes. Inspired by library music and bands like Broadcast, the album reflects isolation and experimentation, later enriched by contributions from Stockholm-based musicians who now form Astrel K’s live band.
