Amyl and the Sniffers are a high-energy punk band rooted in ’70s Australian rock. Formed by former housemates Amy Taylor (vocals), Bryce Wilson (drums), and Dec Martens (guitar), they wrote and recorded their debut EP Giddy Up in just twelve hours, later completing the lineup with Gus Romer on bass. Drawing inspiration from AC/DC, Cosmic Psychos, Dolly Parton, and Die Antwoord, the band channels raw fun and irrepressible energy. Their second EP, Big Attraction (2017), cemented their reputation, boosted by festival appearances and a scorching live show. UK release on Damaged Goods features an alternative sleeve.
