Playaz Only Live Once sees Atlanta rap pioneer 2 Chainz team up with acclaimed producer Statik Selektah for a full-length collaboration blending Southern trap and classic East Coast hip-hop. Produced entirely by Statik Selektah, the album pairs sample-driven beats and warm, soulful production with 2 Chainz’s sharp lyricism and more reflective storytelling. Tracks such as “A Week in Paris” explore his signature luxury lifestyle, while “Pops” takes a more personal approach, reflecting on family, grief and his late father. A meeting of two distinct hip-hop styles, the album showcases 2 Chainz’s continued evolution as an artist.
