Kel Tinariwen is a rare early ‘90s cassette from Tinariwen, never widely released before. It showcases their signature hypnotic guitars and call-and-response vocals, layered over raw drum machine beats and synth-pop-like keyboards, offering a unique, early sound distinct from their later fuller band style. The tape features contributions from Abdallah Ag Alhousseyni, Hassan Ag Touhami (‘Abin Abin’), Kedou Ag Ossad, Liya Ag Ablil (‘Diarra’), and Keltoum Sennhauser.
