Self Hypnosis debut with Contagion of Despair, an experimental progressive doom album featuring members of Esoteric.
The project began with Kris Clayton of Camel of Doom, who found his new material too experimental for that name. He teamed up with Greg Chandler, co-founder of Esoteric, to bring the concept to life—free from expectations and pushing further into avant-garde territory.
