The Complete Dirty South is a reimagined version of Drive-By Truckers’ best-selling 2004 concept album, The Dirty South. Originally exploring Southern hypocrisy and tragedy, this “director’s cut” features re-sequenced tracks, three unreleased songs, four remixes, and updated vocals. Led by Patterson Hood, the release includes a bound book with new liner notes, track-by-track insights from bandmates Mike Cooley and Jason Isbell, unseen photos, and refreshed artwork by the late Wes Freed.
