Originally a British blues band, Fleetwood Mac transformed into global rock superstars in 1975 with Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joining founding members. Their self-titled 1975 album hit No. 1 and went five times platinum, surpassing their previous chart success. The follow-up, Rumours (1977), chronicling personal turmoil, became one of the best-selling albums ever. Along with 1979’s experimental Tusk, these three albums mark the band’s creative peak.
