The Return of The Durutti Column launched a five-decade legacy as one of Manchester’s most quietly influential acts.
For its 45th anniversary, London Records issues remastered, half-speed-cut editions. The LP features a textured sleeve, restored artwork and new liner notes from James Nice. The 2CD set adds bonus tracks, home and studio demos, early live recordings, and exclusive demos, plus essays by James Nice, Bobby Gillespie and Ian Harrison, housed in restored 1985 “cassette edition” packaging.
