Based in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, duo Adam Morrow and Jamie Sego have crafted a concept album inspired by the remote holy island of Lindisfarne. Fusing fuzzy guitars, folk-horror atmospheres, and luminous melodies, it evokes Ride, Slowdive, Galaxie 500, Talk Talk, Yo La Tengo and The Clientele—yet carries the soulful imprint of its Muscle Shoals surroundings, recorded at the historic studio now run by Jamie.
Adam says Lindisfarne’s story helped shape their reflections on a turbulent era marked by pandemic fallout, truth distortion, and political regression, while still allowing room for play, experimentation, and plenty of pedalboard expansion.
