Released 43 years after their debut, The Selecter’s Human Algebra keeps their signature sound alive with hard-hitting tracks tackling issues like fake news (“Big Little Lies”), keyboard warriors (“Armchair Guevara”), knife crime (“Human Algebra”), and human relationships (“Boxing Clever”), plus a tribute to Ranking Roger (“Parade The Crown”). Fronted by Pauline Black OBE and original members Arthur ‘Gaps’ Hendrickson and Charley ‘Aitch’ Bembridge, the album is produced by Neil Pyzer, who also plays sax, guitar, and keyboards, alongside John Robertson, Lee Horsley, and Andy Pearson.
