Lunatic Soul is Mariusz Duda’s solo project, known as the voice and multi-instrumentalist of Polish prog-rock band Riverside. Walking on a Flashlight Beam, his 2014 fourth album, serves as a dark, emotional prequel exploring themes of self-imposed solitude and foreboding, leading into the death and afterlife themes of earlier releases. Praised by Duda as some of his best work, the album features hauntingly melodic compositions and cover art by renowned artist Travis Smith.
