On 12 May 2024, Jean-Michel Jarre and guest Sir Brian May opened the seventh Starmus Festival with Bridge from the Future, a spectacular outdoor concert staged at Bratislava’s SNP (UFO) Bridge. Featuring 22 tracks, including a new composition created for the event and a historic collaboration with May on Dvořák’s New World Symphony, the performance combined music with stunning visuals: lasers, fireworks, 400 synchronized drones, and Slovakia’s largest-ever stage. Jarre was joined by his band, the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, and Choir, creating a multimedia event broadcast on Slovak national TV and later released on BluRay and CD.
