London quartet The Leaf Library return with After The Rain, Strange Seeds, their most melodic and immediate album yet. Blending chiming guitars, organs, and strings with John McEntire’s clear, live-inspired mix, the record evokes Yo La Tengo, The Clientele, and early Stereolab.
Exploring memory, place, and surreal weather, the album features vivid, elliptical imagery and contributions from longtime collaborators, including Iskra Strings and guest musicians Paddy Milner and Scott McKeon.
