The Head as Form’d in the Crier’s Choir (2022-2024) is a conceptual suite exploring rites of passage and symbolic memory, inspired by Rilke’s Sonnets to Orpheus and Monteverdi’s l’Orfeo. Building on Sarah Davachi’s previous work, it bridges fixed electroacoustic compositions with open-form chamber music, where each performance evolves into new structures and meanings.
