Back in print, The Serpentine Similar is Gastr del Sol’s debut album and a key catalyst in 1990s experimental music. Formed from the remnants of Bastro in 1992, David Grubbs and Ken Brown redefined their sound as a drumless duo, creating brooding, droning acoustic landscapes.
