The Linda Lindas’ debut Growing Up blends classic punk, post-punk, power pop, and new wave into infectious, high-energy songs sung by all four members—each bringing their own style. Formed in L.A.’s DIY scene, the band quickly gained traction after a viral performance of “Racist, Sexist Boy.” Ranging in age from 11 to 17, the group includes sisters Mila and Lucia de la Garza, cousin Eloise Wong, and friend Bela Salazar. Produced by Grammy-winner Carlos de la Garza, Growing Up is a confident, youthful burst of punk spirit rooted in generations of underground music.
