Released in 2012, The Connection was both a title and a mission statement for Papa Roach—reaffirming their bond with fans while bridging their nu-metal roots with newer electronic and hard-rock elements. Thirteen years later, Earache Records reissues the album on vinyl outside the US for the first time, including two tracks—“What’s Left Of Me” and “9th Life”—never before pressed to vinyl. Though born of one of Jacoby Shaddix’s darkest periods, the album stands as a testament to the band’s resilience. The reissue lands amid a strong year for Papa Roach, following other Earache reissues and their successful Rise Of The Roach arena tour.
