Sam Gendel – DRM is a bold, experimental follow-up to Satin Doll, created in a single 16-hour session using vintage gear like the Electro Harmonix DRM32 drum machine, antique synths, and a nylon-string guitar. Featuring mostly original compositions and a unique instrumental cover of “Old Town Road,” the album blends lo-fi textures with Gendel’s signature improvisational style. Accompanied by short films shot in California during lockdown, DRM is a raw, inventive sonic journey.
