Released in November 1980, The Sound’s debut Jeopardy is a critically acclaimed but often overlooked post-punk gem. Emerging from punk band The Outsiders, The Sound is widely regarded as one of the most underrated bands of their era. Despite support from John Peel, Echo & The Bunnymen, and touring with The Comsat Angels, they never gained a large following relative to their creative impact.
