Paint Your Wagon is the second studio album by Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, released in 1986. It followed their debut Talk About The Weather and continued their development within the UK post-punk scene.
The album features a more structured and direct approach compared to their debut, with tighter song arrangements and a clearer production style. It was recorded during a period when the band was refining its lineup and sound, centered around vocalist and primary songwriter Chris Reed.
While it did not achieve major commercial success, Paint Your Wagon strengthened the band’s standing in alternative and underground music circles and contributed to their long-term influence on post-punk and industrial rock acts.
