Driving Back EP is an early release by Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, issued in 1985 on Red Rhino Records.
The EP includes the track “Driving Back” along with additional songs such as “Shoot” and “Only Dreaming.” It captures the band’s stripped-down early style, built around drum machine rhythms, repetitive basslines, and sparse guitar work, with vocals by Chris Reed.
This release helped build their early reputation on the UK independent scene and led into their debut album Talk About The Weather.
