Originally released in 2008, 22 Dreams is Paul Weller’s adventurous ninth studio album. Featuring guest appearances from Noel Gallagher and Gem Archer (Oasis), Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene), and Graham Coxon (Blur), the album aims to reflect the changing of the seasons — both sonically and emotionally. While Weller continues to draw from his signature palette of rock, soul, and jazz-funk, he boldly ventures into new territory with elements of electronica, krautrock, and spoken word. The themes — love, heartbreak, and the passage of time — may be familiar, but the music is some of Weller’s most experimental and inspired.
