Horrorble is a dub reinterpretation of Mekons’ 2025 album Horror, created with Tony Maimone (Pere Ubu). The original tracks are dismantled and reshaped into spacious, echo-driven versions where bass, rhythm and atmosphere reveal new textures and emotional depth.
The collaboration draws on a long shared history dating back to a 1988 tour and later work together in the early 1990s. Featuring Benji Webbe (Skindred) on “Mudcrawlers”, Horrorble reframes the urgency of Horror’s themes—climate crisis, economic violence and political decay—through drifting dub soundscapes.
