Marianne Faithfull’s self-titled 1965 pop debut receives its first-ever 180g vinyl reissue, remastered from the original tapes by Grammy-nominated Andrew Batt, with sleeve notes co-written by Marianne before her 2025 passing. Produced by 60s pop architect Mike Leander, the album blends folk revival picks, French pop, and original material, including her breakout hit “As Tears Go By” and “Come And Stay With Me.” It also features her first composition, “Time Takes Time,” and standouts like “Paris Bells” by guitarist Jon Mark. Covers of hits by The Beatles, Petula Clark, and Herman’s Hermits round out this reflective, genre-spanning debut.
