Needle Mythology unveils Love Crowns and Crucifies, the long-lost album by Liverpool duo Care (Ian Broudie and Paul Simpson). Formed in 1982 from the city’s post-punk scene, Care released three acclaimed singles before disbanding, later gaining a devoted following in the Philippines. This first vinyl edition of the Diamonds and Emeralds recordings draws from the original tapes, revealing rare demos, alternate versions, and previously unheard tracks, newly mastered at Abbey Road and approved by Broudie and Simpson.
