Originally released in July 1966, and only in the US and Canada, You Don't Have To Say You Love Me was a repackage of Dusty's second UK album Ev'rything's Coming Up Dusty, with the hits singles 'Little By Little' (UK No. 17) and 'You Don't Have To Say You Love Me' (UK No. 1 / US No. 4). After five Top 40 hits as part of folk-pop trio The Springfields, she launched her solo career with the January 1964 No. 4 single 'I Only Want To Be With You', the first of 20 UK Top 40 hits and 11 in the US, including 'What Have I Done To Deserve This?', her 1987 collaboration with Pet Shop Boys, that reached No. 2 in both countries.
