Mr Jukes is Jack Steadman’s solo project (Bombay Bicycle Club), launched with 2017’s God First, featuring legends like Charles Bradley and De La Soul. A standout collaboration with London rapper Barney Artist—known for his jazz-infused hip-hop and vibrant East London roots—led to their full-length joint album The Locket (2021). Barney’s blend of conscious lyrics and old-school grooves, plus his work with artists like Tom Misch and Loyle Carner, makes him a dynamic and natural collaborator.
