Telehealth emerged from post-Covid Seattle with a sharp, satirical take on modern culture, tech capitalism, and the music industry itself. Formed in 2022 by Alexander Attitude and Kendra Cox, the band blends danceable post-punk with themes of branding, finance, and internet-age identity, asking whether DIY ethics, cultural credibility, and commercial success can coexist.
Their sophomore album, Green World Image, produced by Trevor Spencer and released with Sub Pop, channels the futuristic rhythms of Bezos-era Seattle alongside the city’s underground rock roots. Inspired by everything from architecture and startup culture to bands like XTC, R.E.M., and Yellow Magic Orchestra, Telehealth create a witty, chaotic, and highly danceable sound they describe as fit for both basements and the Amazon Spheres.
