Lucifer on the Moon is a dub-inspired rework of Spoon’s tenth album Lucifer on the Sofa, crafted by UK dub legend Adrian Sherwood. Starting as remixes for singles, Sherwood transformed the tracks using vintage tape techniques, added rich instrumentation from his On-U Sound collaborators, and unearthed hidden details from the original sessions. The result is a lush, echo-heavy reinterpretation that flips the rhythms and expands Spoon’s melodies into a fresh, immersive companion album—more than remixes, it’s a full “Part II.”
