Immersion—the project of Colin Newman (Wire), Malka Spigel (Minimal Compact), and Matt Schulz (Holy Fuck, Savak, Lake Ruth)—returns with new urgency after tours in the UK and USA. While their Nanocluster collaborations focused on partnership, this 2025 release responds directly to today’s dark, divisive times, blending unease with hope through hypnotic minimalism, taut melodies, and groove.
The lead track, “Use It Don’t Lose It”, is a direct call to action—“an expression of us both together, saying the same thing for ourselves & for others.”
