Robyn - Sexistential

Sexistential is Robyn’s most ecstatic and playful record, marking a confident return to the punchy pop energy of her Body Talk era after the introspective club meditations of Honey. Co-produced mainly with longtime collaborator Klas Åhlund, the album’s nine tracks celebrate sensuality, pleasure, vulnerability, and self-connection, a “crash landing” back into herself after years of exploration. Its title captures Robyn’s belief that creativity and sensuality share the same vital, sustaining energy. The album is previewed by singles “Dopamine,” “Talk To Me,” and “Sexistential,” with “Talk To Me” channelling pure fun and flirtation, written during the pandemic and fuelled by the power of words when physical closeness was impossible.
