Gondel Kino Bremen 1971 is a fascinating live album recorded at a film theatre in the west German city documenting an early version of Kraftwerk. In contrast to the electronic music pioneers they would become a few years later, this line-up includes Florian Schneider alongside future Neu! members Klaus Dinger and Michael Rother but (crucially) without Ralf Hütter is far more conventionally ‘krautrock’, with many of its tracks taken from the group’s self-titled 1970 debut.
