Time Actor (1979) is Klaus Schulze’s first album under the pseudonym Richard Wahnfried, blending electronic music with collaborations from artists outside the genre like Santana’s drummer Michael Shrieve and vocalist Arthur Brown. Brown’s theatrical vocals and texts on time add a unique edge to this more structured and concise work compared to Schulze’s usual epics. Originally rare, the remastered edition, released shortly after Schulze’s death in 2022, restores this experimental, genre-crossing album with its original artwork.
