Originally self-released in 1970 on McNeill’s own Asha label, this sought-after private press album (fetching up to £400 online) was composed for the Capital Ballet Company. A multi-disciplinary artist active during the Civil Rights era, McNeill’s rich creative journey connected him with Nina Simone, Picasso, and Eric Dolphy.
