This remastered and expanded edition of ¡Simpatico! revives Velocity Girl’s long out-of-print 1994 sophomore album with fresh mastering and a full bonus disc of B-sides, covers, and rarities from the era. Formed in 1989 in Maryland, the band blended shoegaze fuzz with indie pop before signing to Sub Pop and refining their sound on ¡Simpatico! with producer John Porter, trading scrappy noise for cleaner, New Order-inspired lines. This expanded edition also includes later Inner Ear Studio recordings, featuring experimental B-sides and covers of New Order and The Beach Boys.
