Celebrating their 30th year, Past Imperfect… is a chronological collection spanning the band’s history, featuring one new track. The album is split into two halves: the original lineup with Al Macaulay, Mark Colwill, and Dickon Hinchliffe, and the current lineup with Earl Harvin and Dan McKinna, alongside constant members Stuart A. Staples, Neil Fraser, and David Boulter. It includes songs from Claire Denis films—‘Tiny Tears’ (1996) and ‘Both Sides of the Blade’ (2021)—plus a unique version of ‘Willow’ sung by Stuart instead of Robert Pattinson from High Life (2019).
