Following the success of their 2022 album Confidence, The Hoosiers return with Compassion, their sixth album and a more mature take on the uplifting sound that made them famous in 2007. Inspired by the strong connection with fans, Irwin Sparkes and Alan Sharland created an album centred on self-belief, kindness, and emotional honesty, explored through tracks like Permission To Rest and Don’t Hang Your Head. Describing the record as “a big, stanky hug” to fans, the duo hope to leave the world “more confident” and compassionate through their music.
