Jens Lekman’s Songs from Other People’s Weddings grew from his two decades of performing love songs at strangers’ weddings and a collaborative novel with David Levithan. Blending story and song, the album explores love in all its forms—euphoria, doubt, tenderness, conflict, longing, and belonging—reflecting on relationships through the lens of others’ weddings. Ultimately, it’s a heartfelt ode to the power of love songs themselves.
